CUPID’S TRIUMPH
★ PROJECT ★
-
I was given a design request / challenge one week during my Communications & Video Production internship at The Palmer Museum of Art. On Monday, my coworker asked me if I could design a poster to promote a drink at an upcoming party that was being held that Friday. She wanted a cute graphic to represent the aesthetic of both Valentines Day and the drink itself.
Due to the tight time crunch, I approached the poster with a different perspective. I designed the poster increment by increment, running each variant by my coworker for her approval to move onto the next stage. I first drew the rendered drink, then moved into Adobe Illustrator for the poster design. I made some small tweaks in-between reviews, but overall, I nailed the design first try.
If given more time, I would have iterated more on this poster. Despite this, I am satisfied with the overall product and so was my coworker. It was cool to see my drawing and design printed all around The Palmer’s party.
